Brussels is Belgium’s capital and home to the European Union headquarters. The Grand-Place square at the heart of the city has shops and cafes inside ornate 17th-century guildhouses, and the intricate Gothic Hôtel de Ville (town hall) with a distinctive bell tower. The 19th-century Maison du Roi houses the Musée de la Ville de Bruxelles city-history museum, including costumes for the city’s famed Manneken Pis statue.
Charleroi is a Belgian city in the Walloon province of Hainaut. On the central Place Charles II, the art deco City Hall has a belfry with a carillon chiming fragments of Belgian folk songs. Also on the square, St. Christopher’s Church is known for the large gold-leaf mosaic in the choir. Nearby, the Museum of Fine Arts focuses on 19th- and 20th-century Belgian painters and has a sizable René Magritte collection.

Orléans is a city on the banks of the Loire River in north-central France, and it’s the capital of the Centre-Val de Loire region. Joan of Arc famously saved the city from English siege in 1429, an event celebrated with an annual festival. A re-creation of the house where she stayed during the battle, the Maison de Jeanne d’Arc, features multimedia exhibits on her life.

While Frank Valken makes a fabulous break, a killer squad goes into action and executes all the witnesses. Among the corpses there is that of the magistrate who is investigating the Mad Snipers case. Thirty years later, they seem to be back. Arrested in the act and faced with media pressure, Frank has no choice but to escape to try to prove his innocence.
