Umut is a young man who is entangled in illegal activities with his older brother. Due to a lack of money and severe financial difficulties, he is compelled to undertake jobs he deeply despises. After his older brother Onur rigorously trained him in these nefarious activities, such as snatching, extortion, and assault, these crimes have unfortunately become a daily routine for them. Umut, however, is profoundly uncomfortable with this lifestyle and harbors a strong desire to find legitimate employment. Despite his reservations, he reluctantly accepts one last job offer from his brother, hoping it will be his final foray into the criminal world. This job, however, turns out to be disastrous. Umut is held accountable for the horrific events that transpire, resulting in his arrest and subsequent imprisonment for one year. Upon his release, Umut finds himself at a crossroads. He moves in with his friend Özgür in Istanbul, seeking temporary refuge as he attempts to rebuild his life. This period is fraught with challenges, as Umut struggles to overcome his internal conflicts and readjust to society. He has lost everything, including his ex-girlfriend and the connection with his brother, which makes his journey even more arduous. As he navigates this tumultuous path, Umut faces increasing difficulties, and his situation begins to deteriorate. He must make crucial decisions about his future, contemplating how to move forward and create a new life for himself. Through this process, Umut hopes to reclaim his identity, find stability, and forge a path that distances him from the dark shadows of his past.
