What happens when Spud sets out to make his first movie, fresh out of jail with no money, no plan and no clue. Well first he would have to find a good DP, create all of the characters beginning with himself and his supporting cast and crew. This is the story of a guy with none of that. Javonn Thompson a strip club photographer attempts to throw his first party, and it turns out to be the biggest party in "Birthday Bash" history. The only problem is that he gets kicked out of his own party. He wakes up the next day and realizes that none has anything positive to say about him except his best friend Kareem Anderson. After giving his all to complete this movie he continues to run into obstacle after obstacle to complete his movie. After firing his first DP with hopes of actually completing his first production he meets a famous Hollywood director who is undercover as a homeless man to get into character and discovers that it would cost him $160k. So he hires Coach gets him the money then realizes that he has to be the one to put it all in perspective. Pushed to the brink of giving up, Javon gives it one last shot at making his dreams come true when C.R.E.A.M. shows up and steals the movie. With his back against the wall and his deadline growing closer, Javon must figure out what happened last night, where the money went and how to pull off the party for tonight all before his 1 year anniversary date with his girlfriend "Amber Snow," tonight. Oh and has anybody seen my car? What happens when the lines of reality blur and you can tell the difference between movie and reality? Thank God for a sense of right and wrong even though I figured out that if you follow the "Golden Rule," then what else could possibly go wrong? On my journey to make this movie I have discovered that in my selfish desire to make my dreams come true, the only way I could achieve that was by making everyone else's dreams around me come true, which ended up helping me achieve my biggest dream at the end of it all. #StonedBlownOrLit Up In The Clouds the Movie.
