Dolj County is a county of Romania on the border with Bulgaria, in Oltenia, with the capital city at Craiova.
Moldova, an Eastern European country and former Soviet republic, has varied terrain including forests, rocky hills and vineyards. Between 1943 and 1945, 25.000 Romani people were deported to Transnistria by the Antonescu regime. 70 years later, a few survivors, who were of a very young age at that time, recall those events.
