Plot summary

Once again, Hans Neumeister, a widower father of four spirited children, is looking for a new maid. He advertises the position in the local paper. His children have other ideas. They don't want yet another maid--they want a woman who will stay with the family for good. And to find her, they put their own ad in the paper. When the lady they have selected from among the replies comes to the house, the father mistakes her for the new maid.
