Individual segments included in the documentary include a "Silver Ring Thing" abstinence rally, a trans-gendered view on virginity, a sociological analysis based on the work of Dr.Laura Carpenter, the Broadway play "My First Time", and a look at the history of virginity. Throughout the film are candid personal stories from individuals representing all backgrounds and experiences. The film also includes clips of vintage cinema to punctuate the evolution of this word from ancient Greece to the modern world.
