Plot summary

In the year 1995, a young man from California sets out to make a grand gesture for his girlfriend, and ends up stealing a prototype electric vehicle in Detroit. The automaker who built the prototype desperately wants it back, fearing that this unintentional cross-country publicity tour will prevent them from killing their EV program.
