Plot summary
The director's niece Nao suffers from epilepsy and is mentally handicapped. When Nao was young, her doctor said that she would not be able to live long. This motivated the director to start filming Nao and her family in 1983. Now, Nao is 43, and everyone in her family has their own worries. Unprecedented in the history of documentary film, this is a 35-year record of a family.
