Akyaka is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Ula, Muğla Province, Turkey. Its population is 3,147. Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town. The town is situated at the far end of the Gulf of Gökova, at the start of the fertile Gökova plain, and is a rising center for international tourism.

Muğla's center is situated inland at an altitude of 660 m and lies at a distance of about 30 km from the nearest seacoast in the Gulf of Gökova to its south-west.
